Our small but dedicated team have over 100 years experience in design, development, innovation & manufacture of contract upholstery & dining furniture .

Led by Julian Walsh who spent 24 years as upholsterer, manager and director of a market leading contract furnisher and was responsible for product development from 1992 to 2006.

Since early 2009 Oakwell furnishings have been producing contract upholstery for care homes, hotels & hospital trust customers and our furniture is made to the highest standard.

All frames are made from cilm dried hardwood timber, with a combination of mortice & tenon, dowel, screw, staple & glue to secure the joints.

All of our furniture passes flame retardency test BS 5852 (CRIB 5) medium hazard.
